- Front Rail
- Mast
- Thumb screws (2 x small, 2 x medium, 2 x large)
- Doubler
- Center Foot
- Foot plates
- Handle
- Foot Plate Connector
- Base Plate
- Base Unit
STEPS
1. Take the front rail (5) and lay it on it's top side (smooth side). Align the Front foot (2) with the front end of the front rail. The front end of (5) has the black patch on the top.
2. Thread the male channel of the front foot into the female channel of the front rail. Slide into place ensuring the feet are curved forwards. Secure with 1 x medium thumb screw (7). The thumb screw should be tightened firmly by hand, do not use tools.
IMPORTANT The rower is shipped with the rear foot installed backwards. Failure to reverse and ensure the feet are facing forwards will result in the rower falling over.
3. In the same way, thread the male channel of the rear foot (1) into the female channel of the rear rail (4). The foot will slide the length of the rail to meet up with the rear bumper plate. Ensure the thumb screw hole aligns with the threaded hole of the rail. Secure with 1 x medium thumb screw (7). The thumb screw should be tightened firmly by hand, do not use tools.
5. Collect both rails with feet, the seat (3) and center foot (9)
4. Insert the center foot (9) onto the channel of the rear rail. It will only slide half the length of the center foot.
5. Flip both rails over so the feet are on the ground. Install the seat onto the rear rail ensuring the 'dip' in the middle of the seat is in the rear. Note that the seat will slide freely at this point so enusre it is on level ground or the seat may slide off.
6. Connect both rails in the center by aligning the front rail female channel with the center foot male channel. Do not force these parts together, they are carefully designed to fit snugly and damage may occur if overly forced.
7. Secure the Front and Rear rail together by turning the oversized thumb screw at the rear of the rear rail clockwise. Secure firmly, do not over-tighten with tools.
8. Unwind the Center foot until it makes firm contact with the ground. Secure it in position by moving the upper nut until it is in contact with the male part of the foot. Actual center foot height may be adjusted for optimal performance, see 'Fine Tuning' below.
9. Install the Mast (6) onto the front rail by aligning the oversized lugs. Use two large thumb screws (7). Insert the Base Plate (13) into the top of the mast.
TIP: do not tighten thumbscrew until you have both within a few threads of being tight. If one is tightened before the other is installed it may cause mis-alignment.
10. Install the Doubler (8) onto the mast ensuring the magnetic clip is closest to the Base Plate. Use one small thumb screw to secure tightly. Use the remaining small thumb screw to additionally secure the base plate by screwing into the back of the mast.
11. Collect the Foot Plates (10) and the Foot Plate Connector (12). Unscrew one of the thumb screws from the connector and insert into the through hole on the foot plate, it will be a firm fit. Ensure the locking pin (indicated by the arrow) on the foot is facing opposite to the thumbscrew.
12. Insert the Connector through the mounting hole on the rower as shown. Slide the opposite foot onto the connector (noting the correct orientation of the locking pin) and secure with the thumb screw removed in step 11. Select a hole for the locking pins and match both foot plates. You may experiment with the angle for maximum comfort.
NOTE: If you do not see the locking pins they may be retracted. When retracted the foot plates will freely spin which is useful for some training methods. Deploy the pins from the bottom. Also note that the foot plates are labelled R (right) & L (left).
13. Install the Base Unit (14) by aligning the lug holes on the bottom with the lugs on the Base Plate. Secure with the latches on both sides.

Below: Latch in closed position
14. Pull the cord out of the base unit with enough length to reach the doubler. Remove the magnetic pin from the doubler and secure the cord as shown.
15. Remove the Roller from the Handle (11) by removing the magnetic pin.
16. Route the base unit cord through the handle and over the roller as shown. Ensure the handle curves down to match your natural hand position. Secure with the magnetic pin.
17. When not rowing you may secure the handle in the latch built in to the mast.
18. You're ready to row!
FINE TUNING
Center Foot:
- Sit in the seat and slide back and forth, you will feel a slight bump in the center of the rail. This is normal.
- If you feel more than a slight bump experiment with adjusting the center foot up or down to minimize the height difference between the rails.
- This rower works best on hard floor surfaces, if you are not getting a good rail feel on carpet try moving the rower onto a new floor surface.
Foot plates:
- Your heel drop may be changed by adjusting the velcro heel cups on the rail.
- Your foot plate angle may be changed with the retracting pins. 4 options are available as well as a 'free swing' option by retracting the pins entirely.
Seat:
- The seat may be locked to the rail with the built in pin found immediately under the seat threaded through the retainer holes. Insert this pin through the seat and into the holes on the rail to lock off the seat and prevent it from sliding.
